The Enchanted Forest occurs at the Farmstead site of Merry Lea, located at 2152 S 425 W, Albion, IN 46701. This is the address for a GPS unit or car navigation device. View a map or directions to the Farmstead.
Do I need to register or make a reservation?
No, registration is not required for the Enchanted Forest. Tickets are sold at the door each night of the event.
May I pay with a credit/debit card?
Yes, we can process credit and debit card payments. We also accept cash or personal checks with a driver’s license.
Do I need a ticket for my baby?
Children age 2 and younger do not need a ticket and are admitted free of charge with a parent or guardian. All other guests will be charged $3.50.
Is there a fee for parking?
No, we do not charge for parking. Guests are welcome to park in the gravel parking lots around the Farmstead site. Please avoid parking on the grass.
Do I need to arrive by 7 p.m. to participate?
No, guided hikes will be available throughout the evening, leaving every 20 to 30 minutes. The hike is about 1 hour in length. Guests may enjoy snacks and music while waiting.
Do children wear costumes or dress up?
Children may wear costumes to the Enchanted Forest; however, this is not an expectation for our guests. Please no scary costumes. Keep in mind the event is designed to be a fun, family night hike.
May I bring a flashlight?
Flashlights are welcome for use around the buildings and in the parking lots. Each trail leader will have a lantern to light the way and we recommend not using your flashlight on the guided hike to maximize your night hiking experience. However, if you choose to use your flashlight on the hike, please be respectful and only shine it on the ground in front of you.
May I bring a stroller?
If you choose to bring a stroller, we recommend a “jogging stroller” or a similar kind of stroller with large wheels. The trails are not paved and may be uneven. Most of the trails are covered with grass or gravel.
