Behold the mystery and wonder of the season by witnessing the transformative journey of our natural world. 

Join in an immersive learning experience that connects people to a sense of place and self. Learn how natural cycles influence our seasons and transform our surroundings. This phenologically inspired day is designed to give hope, spark curiosity and connect with the rhythms of our planet.

Programs are designed for adults who want to connect with our natural world. Along with spending time outdoors, physical activity, self reflection and creative outlets will be included. Components like journaling, guided visualizations, breath work or dancing join us to transformative processes taking place each season.

SPRING INTO SUMMER features themes of nesting, flowering and new growth. Savor moments as our region transitions into the flavors of summer. Guided trail activities engage your senses as themes of spring are explored. Traverse Luckey’s Landing for an afternoon of enjoyment and fellowship with our natural world.

Cancellation Policy

Reservations for Merry Lea's programs can fill quickly, and quality experiences require the help of staff and advance preparation. A last minute cancellation is disruptive and may prevent a wait-listed participant from coming.

If you cancel a program that involves Merry Lea educators, you will be refunded:

  • A full refund if participant cancels one week prior to a program
  • A 50% refund if participant cancels from six days to 24 hours before a program
  • No refund if participant cancels less than 24 hours prior to a program

If Merry Lea cancels a program (due to dangerous weather, low enrollment or unforeseen emergencies) a full refund will be issued.
*Please note: refunds are issued through the Goshen College accounting office, and may take up to 3 weeks to process.
