DESCRIPTION: \n  \n  \n Discover the world of animals in winter and how they spend their time in the cold and snowy months while we read Over and Under the Snow by Kate Messner. Let’s feel some warm furs, hide food like other mammals, and even meet a live animal! Come prepared to be outside for the whole program time. A jacket, boots, and water bottle are recommended.  \n  \n  \n  \n What is Tales & Trails? \n  \n  \n Children and their caregiver(s) gather for a short story that incites curiosity before exploring different locations around Merry Lea's property. Expect to hear a tale & hike a trail while discovering the natural wonders around you together. This is a 1.5 hour monthly program designed for children ages 3-5, with younger siblings welcome to join, led by a Merry Lea educator.   \n  \n  \n  \n Registration is not required for this event series: you’re welcome to drop in without registering.
