We’re going to search for treasure! The treasures include tracks, nests, and signs of animals eating. We’ll make our own track stories after reading In the Snow: Who’s Been Here? By Lindsay Barrett George. What all will we discover together?

Come prepared to be outside for the whole program time. A jacket, boots, and water bottle are recommended.

What is Tales & Trails?

Children and their caregiver(s) gather for a short story that incites curiosity before exploring different locations around Merry Lea's property. Expect to hear a tale & hike a trail while discovering the natural wonders around you together. This is a 1.5 hour monthly program designed for children ages 3-5, with younger siblings welcome to join, led by a Merry Lea educator.
