This month at Tales & Trails, we will be reading About Arachnids by Cathryn Sill. We will learn about what arachnids are, where they live and how they are part of the ecosystem. If we’re lucky, we will find some and look at them up close and personal.

What is Tales & Trails?

Children and their caregiver(s) gather for a short story that incites curiosity before exploring different locations around Merry Lea's property. Expect to hear a tale & hike a trail while discovering the natural wonders around you together. This is a 1.5 hour monthly program designed for children ages 3-5, with younger siblings welcome to join, led by a Merry Lea educator.  

Registration is not required for this event series: you’re welcome to drop in without registering. By registering for this program you are signing up for the Tales and Trails monthly email list, which shares details like upcoming program location and more!
